Microsoft India launched Guardian, a safety app for woman for Windows mobile users

Hello, today I am going to share very useful app launched by Microsoft IT India for windows mobile users. The app is available for absolutely free and available here. Currently India is facing very critical cases for crimes on women. Indian employees from Microsoft developed Guardian app over six months to stop such critical cases on women.

Our employees wanted to do something to enable people to feel safer in our cities. So they used their spare time to develop Guardian. Guardian is a robust personal security app with more safety features and capabilities than any other comparable app available to Indian smartphone users today.

At Microsoft, our focus is on addressing societal challenges and in contributing to making the nation a safer place for all its citizens. In channeling our interest, enthusiasm and a passion for technology that makes a difference to people and communities, we decided to act by working to prevent crimes against women by developing a software that will enable people to summon help within minutes and create effective deterrents against such crimes.
 Microsoft
Features:
  • Easy Set-up
  • real-time tracking for self with optimized algorithm
  • intelligent SOS
  • Integrated Social Media(Facebook)
  • locate buddies
  • local help(once click emergency calls to police, fire, hospital)
  • real time tracking by security agencies
This app can help women in any problematic or dangerous situations I think. Can send alert to their friends, relatives, etc…There is also inbuilt solution for police and security agencies who are monitoring for SOS in app. And by monitoring they can help through online portal which is cloud base technology. Some of great features like real time tracking of self and real time tracking by security agencies are very useful in critical time and also in dangerous situations. And best feature I can say is that SOS continues even after the phone is destroyed.

Let’s hope for the best from this app. At least we can protect some threats to women. Thanks to Microsoft India team.
