Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 launched, wait is over....(Specifications, review, price)

Your wait is over finally. Earlier a South Korean company Samsung announced about Galaxy Grand 2 and today launched it. This is again a budget phone in Samsung’s Galaxy series as Galaxy Grand Duos. As Galaxy Grand got popularity because of its best software features comparable to premium phones and great graphics performance, the Galaxy Grand 2 is advanced version of Galaxy Grand and expected to be more CPU and GPU performance and premium software support. This phalet can beat some of its rivals which are already in the market like Micromax Canvas Turbo.

"This new Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 delivers an improved HD viewing experience, more powerful multi-tasking features, a premium experience through design and entertainment on the go," Samsung India Country Head, Mobile and IT, Vineet Taneja said at the launch.

Nokia said NO to Android Smartphone, focusing on wearable devices instead

As we all know and I also mentioned in my earlier post(see post) that Nokia is going to launchAndroid Smartphone, but now Nokia has back off from developing the android phone named “Normandy”. Nokia planned to launch low budget Smartphone using Android in earlier 2014, but now it is not going to be happened. This may be a little sad news for Nokia Smartphone lovers who want it in low budget. As per the sources, Nokia is now may be focusing on wearable devices including smart glasses instead of Android Smartphone. This news is from a Chinese blog C Technology.

The blog says that “Nokia will be focusing specifically on devices that come with flexible displays and augmented reality. It is unclear if it is an internal decision of the first sign of Microsoft’s influence at the company.”

"The news (of Nokia dropping the Android phone) is not that surprising considering Microsoft has essentially bought the company. The two firms are now just waiting on regulatory clearance in Europe, the US and China"

Nokia will also focus on wearable – augmented reality and flexible displays, wireless power transmission and electromagnetic energy generation are quoted as the things that will set a Nokia wearable apart from the competition. A Nokia smart watch may not be part of the package though as that project is reportedly headed to Microsoft.

Lenovo, the world's largest player in personal computer makers, is ready to launch Vibe X smart phones today. It is the first smart phone in Lenovo’s premium range phones. Lenovo launched the five-inch Vibe X Smartphone at retail price of Rs 25,999 in India. Online pre-orders has been started today (18-Dec) and it will be in market by the end of the week.
