The program was
developed at Boston College to help people with disabilities use the computer.
The main audience for this program is people who do not have reliable control
of a hand but who can move their head. People with Cerebral Palsy, Spinal
Muscular Atrophy, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, various
neurological disorders use this program and its predecessors to run all types
of computer software.
Once you install and
launch Camera Mouse you need to select the
camera from system. Now select a feature on your face and that point will be marked
with a green square box. Either you can wait for the app to automatically move
mouse pointer with that pointer within 4sec by default movements or hit Ctrl key or F9 to quick start. You can move your head across in front of
screen and also can be clicked by checking click
and Single-click to open an item (windows
settings)

System Requirements:
- Windows 8, 7, Vista, or an up-to-date XP (with .NET Framework 3.5 for Camera Mouse 2013 or with .NET Framework 2.0 for Camera Mouse 2011).
- Camera Mouse should work fine on tablets running Windows 8 (but not on tablets running Windows RT) as long as it has a mouse or trackpad attached; otherwise no mouse pointer appears.
- a standard webcam, either one built into the computer or monitor or tablet or a standard USB webcam.
